One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The desk staff guys are kind, welcoming, elegant & helpful. The location is excellent for anyone just being a tourist in Copenhagen. It is a 7 minute walk from the Central Train Station that in 14 minutes takes you to the airport. Or you can take the metro (one change only) to/from the airport; the metro station is closer but the overall trip takes longer. I suggest the train. Splurge for a room with a balcony, especially if the weather is good. I used the balconies constantly. There Illy express machine was amazing & the room was a proper size with a comfortable cushioned chair. The outdoor furniture (for your private terrace) was solid, attractive & quite comfortable (for being solid iron). The breakfast is unsurpassed! It is varied and abundant. Everything from hot food, to baked goods, juices (good ones), cold cuts, cheeses, yogurts & any coffee type you like. The jams & cereal were great; on, tons of fresh fruit (not green). The Wide Hotel is interesting in that I think it is a group of different hotels with one central lobby & one shared front desk. The desk is staffed 24/7 and the security is excellent; no one passes without being seen by front desk staff. This was my first visit to Copenhagen & I picked the perfect hotel. I could tell it’s popular, so book early & get the balcony rooms on the top floor. I saw some of the YouTube videos & I was worried. The rooms on YouTube looked so small but nicely designed but that was NOT the case with my room; it was AMAZING! Any questions? Just ask. I’ll post pics as well.

We had a great stay at WIDE Hotel! While our room wasn’t quite ready at check-in, we were able to store our luggage so we could head out and explore, which was appreciated. One small suggestion: it would be great if guests accessing the luggage room could use an alternate route rather than the hotel’s only (and very small) lift — there were often long queues just to go up or down. Our room was very comfortable — the beds were incredible, and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a lovely touch. We didn’t try the breakfast as we preferred to eat out, but we did visit the bar in the evenings. It had a great atmosphere but could definitely benefit from an extra staff member. One young, dark-haired bartender seemed more focused on chatting than serving, which made it tough to get a drink when the bar was full. A big plus: the complimentary umbrellas! With the unpredictable weather, they were a lifesaver — especially since a couple of us forgot to pack one. Check-out was smooth and hassle-free. All in all, a great experience with just a few areas that could be improved. Would return!

The hotel location is very convenient to walk to many of the sights, museums and Tivoli Gardens. For those not wishing to walk everywhere, there is a nearby train station and buses. Transportation is convenient as you use your credit card to purchase tickets before boarding. The hop on hop off bus system was also very present throughout the city. We elected no breakfast at the hotel and found convenience stores, supermarkets and small cafes nearby. The staff at the hotel bar were friendly and helpful at providing ice to take back to our rooms or to fill our water bottles. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only drawback was a single chair in a room for two people. We asked at reception but were unable to get a second chair. The air conditioning controls worked well.

Bed was a bit soft but very comfortable nonetheless. I usually like a mattress that is more firm but my bed was good. Pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was good, everything was fresh (breakfast is a bit expensive per person). Extremely convenient location in the center of the city, near everything. I loved my room. Very clean, very stylish. I was meeting my son and his girlfriend who were also staying here and the hotel gave us two adjacent rooms which was very appreciated. The workers at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. We asked for a teapot for each of our rooms and they brought them very promptly. Train station only a short distance away so no need for a car.

We got the quiet room facing away from the street. This is great as it eliminates the noise coming from the outdoor concert venue from 3 to 9pm on weekdays. To be honest most of the time we were out during this time so the music did not affect us in any way. The room is small but very well thought out with lots of storage and shelving. The hotel provides several types of pillows which accommodate all kinds of sleepers. The bathroom was fantastic with a nice walk in shower. Again small, but very functional. The bed was very comfortable and blackout blinds ensured some very good sleeping. The windows could be opened which is nice to get some fresh air.
